I bought this for my Mavic 2 Pro drone and have been very pleased with its quality and functionality. The semi rigid shell provides good protection for the drone and it has room for two extra batteries, the remote controller, filters, and extra blades. It has enough height that I can even leave the joysticks attached to the controller when placed inside. The other nice part is that it fits vertically in my backpack and opens completely flat so you can set up quickly in the field. The zipper is not very smooth but that is the only negative I can say about this fine product. Well done PGYTECH.

This case is awesome. I was looking for a case that could both transport my Mavic by itself, as well as slip inside of another backpack when I need to carry more gear. For the record, my backpack is a Tom Bihn Brain Bag and this PGYTECH Mavic bag fits great inside of it with plenty of room left for a laptop, tablet, and miscellaneous other gear.

The great thing about this case can also be a negative: it fits EXACTLY what’s listed in the item description. Nothing more. I would love to see a version 2 with a mesh pocket on the inside or outside so you can at least carry a cable, spare set of props, etc.

I've been a happy Mavic 2 owner since launch day in August, 2019, and since then PGYTECH has a been a go-to for 3rd party accessories. Upon receipt, this case does not disappoint. Definitely an improvement over the DJI Fly-More carrying bag (full disclosure: I think the DJI bag is perfectly fine for what it is, but I was looking for something that could more easily slide in and out of a backpack and more suitable for tossing in a suitcase). I'd prefer this case for travelling vs. the DJI bag. The DJI bag is more compact and might be better as an easy-access over-the-shoulder bag.

The interior is formed to securely hold the Mavic 2 (battery installed), controller (sticks removed), 2 spare batteries, charging hub, wall charger, and car charger. I personally prefer this vs. other cases that are essentially just rectangular cutouts. The compartments for the chargers can instead be used to store additional extra batteries, as indicated in the diagram included with the case. So the compartments are not configurable in their shape or size, but can be used in different ways. My favorite feature of the interior is that the shape of the drone storage area is such that it prevents/minimizes pressure and distortion of the rotor blades. That is my #1 complaint about the DJI bag, that it seems like the props are rather exposed to damage if you're not super careful. In fact, always remove the props when using the DJI bag just to be safe. No worries with this case, though.

The layout of the interior has been thought out in such a way as to minimize the height of the case when closed - in fact that was one reason I opted for this case vs. the (very nice) Polar Pro Minimalist case. This case will slide nicely into and out of a backpack. It feels sturdy enough to hold up well if packed up with other things (i.e. suitcase). And it actually looks very nice - an attractive matte black. The zippers are quality, if a little tight - they are waterproof , so that's to be expected, and even after a few open/close maneuvers, they have loosened up a bit and glide a bit smoother.

I was able to snag this while there was a coupon still available ($14 off), so the value proposition was pretty good. Still, after handling the case in person, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again at full price. I just think it has some advantages vs. the Polar Pro case, which would have been my next best choice.

As with other PGYTECH products I've purchased for my Mavic 2, this case does not disappoint. It has a premium feel and a great balance of features.

I'll update this review if anything changes my opinion after using for awhile.

I like the look and build of this bag. It's very sleek and had the perfect shape for storing inside a backpack to travel with. I use this for my Mavic 2 Pro of course and it's made to fit perfectly. I definitely enjoy using this more than the fly more bag. The only issue I have with the bag is the zipper which gets stuck from time to time but other than that it's a great minimalist carrying bag for the Mavic 2 Pro. Lastly the amount of accessories you're able to put in the bag is adequate, I'm able to fit the Mavic 2 pro drone, two batteries, remote control, extra propellers, and cable's.

While the DJI FlyMore case is a bit smaller, because of it's soft construction it may provide less protection than the PGYTECH hard shell case. The PGYTECH case has solid, form fitted insert spaces for the drone, controller and 2 batteries; other insert spaces provide holders for filter cases and connection cables. I have both cases and find the PGYTECH case better suited to travel due to the hard shell case design.
